By collaborating with various charities, such as Lions Clubs and the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong, the sport of rope skipping is integrated with charitable activities to build a positive image for the Hong Kong Rope Skipping Federation, China. At the same time the awareness of sport of rope skipping could be increased.
By establishing different charitable rope skipping teams and assisting in holding a series of events, the spirit of Lions will be realized to serve the society wholeheartedly, so that children will have the opportunity to receive basic education and build interest, therefore their lives will be more exciting and meaningful.
The formation of charity rope skipping teams, most of the members are from the same district but from different backgrounds, such as refugees and single parent families. Practice rope skipping together, and build up team target with members, can improve their identification with local residents and members of the rope skipping team.
Through the rope skipping promotion in different schools, potential athletes are discovered. Systematic training is provided in each charity rope skipping teams, so as to cultivate elite athletes for the Hong Kong rope skipping sport.
The events and the establishment of different charity rope skipping teams, can boost employment and create new business opportunities for HKRSF and potential coaches. Meanwhile, the event can attract new sponsors to assist and support the development of rope skipping in Hong Kong.
